Really fun game. This took me back to my childhood when I played these sorts of games in books.
Really enjoyed the game. The narrative is rich, immersive, and filled with unexpected twists and turns that kept me hooked from start to finish. The character development is top-notch, and I found myself genuinely caring about the protagonist's journey.
Interesting sci-fi setup and well explained (not too short, not too long)
Good use of sensory descriptions in the story
Simple but effective art like old choose your own adventure books used
I would go with white text on gray bg or gray text on white bg. White on black is harsh for my eyes
The dice for stats is inconsistent, stick with 1d10 or 2d6 for all I'd say. Once you get more familiar with sugarcube coding, allow for some bonus, wildcard points to be added on to the rolled stats so they can customize their character more toward their liking (some people might want to play a high stamina tank, for instance).
The script is actually really good, I have gone back and tried different options, I didn't think I was that bad at blowdarts, but hey-ho.............
As some of the comments state below, if you don't have a certain item, it shouldn't appear as an option (like the "IF You have it")... besides, why can't I buy all the items and decide which one I want to use (especially if I have the silver)?
Something that will really help with the immersion is some basic Background music/sounds. When you talk about river, Bushes, fir, wind , blow darts missing...etc. I can picture in my head what they sound like, it would be good to hear them when you flick to the next section. Maybe even record some "jibberish noises" when speaking to a character.

Interesting concept, I'm new to these types of games and they remind me of the days when I played on the Amiga 1200! Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing how this game evolves.

Initial impressions:
Great detail on locations and what is happening
limited options, so replaying from start would be quick, but not a lot of paths to follow.
Didn't notice the save option until I got stuck on a page, after selecting the option to use the mind reading item, which I didn't have. :)
It just says 'Sorry, you do not have this item. Please go back to the previous passage and choose your option again.'
I couldn't see how you go back and choose another option.
I also feel like this is pointless, so if you don't have an item the option shouldn't appear.

For me, the fixed-width font is much too large for the small window. Using the Web browser's default sans-serif font might be more appropriate (i.e. don't specify a font at all, which would cause the use of the default font.) I had to stop reading after the 3rd passage.

I initially used that font to attempt to replicate the old-style adventure games, but I take your point on readability.
To address your comment, I've changed the body text to a more legible font now, such as sans-serif.
I would greatly appreciate your further feedback on the game if you wouldn't mind playing again with the new font.
